Where is SKY direct available?

SKY direct is available anywhere in the country even in remote areas like mountains and islands since we are not dependent on cable infrastructure. SKY direct transmits signal via satellite. As long you have the satellite dish, LNB and the SKY direct Box, you can enjoy watching your favorite shows.

What are the subscription requirements?

We only require 1 valid ID and the accomplished application form. For Sky cable subscribers, please present your latest SKY Statement of Account/Billing.

Do I need internet or fiber service to use SKY direct?

No. SKY Direct is a standalone satellite TV service that does not require an internet or fiber connection.

Who will install SKY direct in my home?

An authorized SKY direct agent will contact you to schedule an installation visit at your convenience. A certified SKY direct technician will then install the satellite dish and Set-Top Box for free. During the visit, they will:

  • ✅ Test the service to ensure proper reception.
  • ✅ Guide you on how to use the system and access your channels.
  • ✅ Answer any questions about your new SKY Direct service

Can I apply for a 2nd box?

Yes, your 2nd box is only P1,330 including the CAS Dongle. The installation fee for the 2nd box is free if you install this together with your 1st HD Box. You will be charged a minimum P500 service fee on the 2nd box if installed on a later date

I already have an existing satellite dish from a different provider. Can I apply for a box-only package?

Of course! Provided that your existing dish is still working, we can reuse this and just install the SKY direct HD Box so you can enjoy watching exclusive and top rating channels that only SKY direct offers.

What happens if my SKY direct box loses signal?

If the weather is clear but there’s no signal:

  • 1️⃣Restart your Set-Top Box.
  • 2️⃣Contact SKY direct Dealer for assistance.

What are the warranties included with the SKYdirect Kit?

The SKYdirect Kit comes with the following warranties:
  • HD Box: 12 months from the installation date.
  • Dish and LNB: 6 months from the installation date.
  • Workmanship (the quality of the installation): 1 month from the installation date.
These warranties cover manufacturing defects and hardware failures that occur during normal use of the equipment. If the HD Box is found to be defective within its warranty period, it will be replaced. Please note that the warranty does not cover damages resulting from:
  • Misuse or incorrect operation.
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  • Accidents
  • Natural disasters (like typhoons or floods)
To claim a warranty, you must provide proof of installation, such as your receipt or a service record.
